Maybe they'll be eclipsed in trendiness for a short while by the whoopie pie or bundt cake, but cupcakes are very practical for weddings. They come in their own case, so no faffing about with wrapping pieces of cake in napkins, and a beautiful tower of cupcakes is a real talking piece.

Cupcakes are also great for parties - they can be simple or glam, or decorated to match your party theme. Our cupcakes come in mini as well as standard large size, and these are ideal for afternoon teas, smaller events or children's parties.

Prices

Let's cut to the chase: I'm guessing what you really want to know is how much this is likely to cost you.

If what you want is a jolly good quality cupcake at a reasonable price, then you've come to the right place. If you want fancy decorations, beautiful cupcake cases in patterns and foils - wonderful! But then we need to charge a bit extra for that time and creative skill - sound fair enough?

So, the price per cake will depend on the following:

  • what sort of cake you would like
  • whether there are special adaptations to the recipe, eg for food allergies or intolerances
  • level of complexity and therefore time required for the decoration
  • how many you need
But to give you some examples:
  • 100 Very Vanilla cupcakes, in cases of your choice (including gold or silver) with a sprinke of glitter, would cost 80p per cake (yes, only 80p!)
  • 30 bespoke recipe cupcakes, with fancy decorations such as handmade flowers, gold chocolate swirls etc, would cost in the region of £1.50 per cake, which is still darned good value for money
